Andrew - Owner of HotSpotZone Well its like this, I have always loved animals but never made that connection between a hotdog and a cow or Bacon and a pig nor did I have a clue how much these Animals suffer. I always figured they grew up nice and happy till they were finally killed for food not that your really thinking about it when your standing in line at your local fast food joint. Well in mid July my friend nick was home alone for a week and was having a house party so I finally got enough courage to ask a friend from where I work if she wanted to go, to my surprise she said yes. By this time I really liked her and every few nights we would talk on line for 4-5 hours at a time. While I was talking to her on-line I found out she was a vegetarian. This was a bit of a shock and at the time I knew very little about vegetarians or why vegetarians did not eat meat but by this time I had started to develop feelings for her and while I did not know much about vegetarians I thought it best to learn all I can. I asked her which was very little help but she said go get educated. The few other things she did tell me were not much help because I was not taking any of this very serious because I was getting getting educated for all the wrong reasons, mostly so she would like me more. In late September I was looking for the propagandi CD for her I came across a fan page which was in strong support of what propagandi believed in. At first glance I thought the person who made this site was a real wacko but for the sake of trying to learn where she was coming from I read the whole page and finally got to a link to www.goveg.com which is a Peta owned site. My parents raised me to stay clear of Peta believing they are all wackos and not to be taken seriously but this did not seem to stop me from clicking on a link to a video called "meet your meat" where I watched baby chicks being moved down a conveyer belt falling 5-6 feet into a basket and where one of the workers would pick up a baby chicken and insert it beak into a machine which would painfully burn its beak off. After watching that I took this very seriously and felt I had no choice but to covert. The only problem was I was still not educated so I watched as many video clips as I could and decided to dedicate a section of my website, www.hotspotzone.com to show other people what happens to these poor animals. I also made a offer to her to help build this section of HotSpotZone which she accepted but has yet to follow through. So as of September 29th I converted and stopped eating meat, Gelatin and sea food. But still uneducated I continued to eat/drink dairy products. By December 8th I fully converted to a Vegan and will not eat any products that come from Animals.
